Karyn Brady

Hi there, I am Karyn Brady and have been working as a Young Carers Worker since 2005. Before coming to work at Angus Carers Centre I graduated from University with an Honours degree in Psychology, I also was a young carer helping to look after a member of my family.

At the moment I am currently involved in meeting new young carers referred to our service and supporting young carers through one to one sessions and group work. I also help to deliver the new 6 week Carewise course, which has been an exciting new development for myself and the young carers service.

Lorna Hornsby

Hiya, I am Lorna and I have been a young carers worker at Angus Carers Centre since 2005. Before starting work at Angus Carers Centre, I gained a degree in Community Education.

I support young carers in groups and on a one-to-one basis, I carry out assessments and help to deliver the Carewise course. I also support the young carers Forum and you may see me around some of the schools in Angus as i carry out awareness raising sessions about Young Carers' issues to pupils.

Pamela Christie

Hi, I am Pamela and I have just recently joined Angus Carers as a Young Carers Worker. I have many years experience working and supporting young people through a variety of roles within Tayside and Angus. I will be carrying out young carer assessments, supporting young carers on a one to one basis and helping with the group work sessions.
